The EEE course aims to provide classroom and laboratory instruction for a solid grounding in electrical and electronics engineering, including theory, design and application upon which future technology will be based. This is a four-year course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering for students wanting to learn more about Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, Electrical Machine Design, Control Systems and Electro Magnetics.
This course lays emphasis on Electrical Sunstation Design, Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Machine Design and Electrical Energy Auditing. Students are given special instruction in Computer-aided power management systems, and computer-aided design of electrical machines. They also study advanced subjects like VLSI and Embedded Systems and their applications with Fuzzy Logic, AI and Neural Networks.
Students can pursue postgraduate programmes in Electrical Power Systems, Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, Electromagnetic and Micro Electronics. Apart from pursuing careers in Indian Electrical manufacturing units in public and private sectors, students can also get placed in MNCs known for ES & VLSI design and Indian companies like Infosys, Wipro, APSEB, NTPC, BHEL and BEL
